PT Bank Victoria International Tbk (Bank Victoria) was established in 1992 and began operating as a commercial bank on October 5, 1994. Bank Victoria listed its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange in 1999 and expanded its foreign exchange services in 1997, obtaining foreign exchange bank status in 2016.
In 2007, Bank Victoria acquired Bank Swaguna, which later became PT Bank Victoria Syariah (BVIS). The Victoria Business Group was restructured in 2022 through the divestment of the majority of BVIS shares, which was followed in 2025 by the sale of all Bank Victoria shares in BVIS to PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk.
In 2021, Bank Victoria was appointed as a Perception Bank for the Electronic State Revenue System in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Treasury Number KEP-284/PB/2021 dated November 16, 2021. In 2023, Bank Victoria obtained a license as a Conventional Monetary Operations Participant from Bank Indonesia. Furthermore, in 2024 Bank Victoria obtained a license for digital banking and QRIS services, and in 2025 it became a participant in the Renewable Energy Exchange on the Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (ICDX).
